Husqvarna Serial Number Lookup Chainsaw
Greg, I am thinking that you must try to find a model # on the powerhead somewhere. There are some very old saws that have a plate down by the crank. But without any information about that saw I don't even know where to attempt to try finding parts.do you know displacement of engine size? Original bar length? Have you looked for steel stamp marks on the jug?
I would use a magnifying glass to find any info that I could, if I needed parts. If you can't find information anywhere on the saw, then you may be able to take measurements of the intake port and then match those measurements to a contemporary carb intake manifold. I have heard thru the vine that some old models have info somewhere near the exhaust port or muffler, but I have not noticed them.I am no help at all here, but if it were mine and I wanted to keep it working, then I would not give up easily.
Greg,If you go to U-tube.com you can put in Husqvarna 162, or Husqvarna (any model number) and you will probably see a picture of it.Here are some other 1980's Husqvarna Models, so If the 162 is not the right number check these out: Husky 34, Model 40, Model 444, Model 61, and Model 133.You can also get OM's & IPL's for some of the 1980's models from the Husqvarna home page, here is a link to their manual look-up page:Again, I hope this helps.PS. Iam Not a Husqvarna Representative or Authorized Repair, Just an Experimental Chainsaw Person.

You have to select 'Use a fixed Folder for all Users' and also fysically have to create this folder through 'Browse'.We tried a few times to leave it default 'C:data' but everytime the error 1606 came up. Stata 12 license file. NoteStata 12 causes a problem tryoing to run the MSTError 1606: Could not access network location. After a lot of trail and error we found out that during the creation off the MST at the point where Stata asks for the 'Default working directory'. So if you want to use 'c:data' create it from inside the program.Sorry best way to explain it without pictures.Strange part is Stata 11 on the same machine wasn't a problem at all.please feel free to contact me if you need a better explanation.regardsHcroij@Uvt.nl.
